Join Wildlands Restoration Volunteers for our FIRST project of 2018!
In September 2013 the St. Vrain Creek flooded, devastating multiple communities in the area. Five years later, Federal disaster relief money is funding permanent repairs of the river.
Apple Valley is northwest of Lyons, and the stream channel has been repaired through extensive heavy equipment work. Volunteers will plant native seed, spread soil amendments and WoodStraw, and plant thousands of native shrubs and trees.
