Dive deep into the powerful narratives of Motus' UndocuAmerica monologists as they unfold heartfelt stories from the frontlines of immigration policy. We're honored to have Pastor Stephanie Lord co-read an UndocuAmerica monologue, taking a moment to understand and share the experiences of an undocumented immigrant rights leader. This poignant performance is further enriched by soulful musical responses by Elisa Garcia and CTS musical director Dan Graeber.

Proclaiming Colorado’s Black History Opening Night

Step inside the Museum of Boulder’s newest exhibit, Proclaiming Colorado’s Black History. Proclaiming Colorado’s Black History will give Coloradans and all visitors an inclusive understanding of the state’s history by illuminating the stories of Black Coloradans who have lived in this area for the past two centuries. Learn about the contributions they have made to the Centennial State, and the legacy they have left behind. Experience the history of “Colorful Colorado” through the African American perspective!

Join us for food, drinks, a DJ, general festivities and an exhibition viewing and discussion from all the contributors and community partners who have made this exhibit possible.

Every Body Belongs on Bikes!

People with diverse bodies and experiences work and recreate in the outdoors. This event series will focus on welcoming people to Boulder County Parks and Open Space that may feel out of place or struggle to find a sense of community when recreating on public lands. We will hike, bike, and provide community service. All bodies, all abilities, and all identities welcome! Every Body Belongs on a Bike! The joy of riding bikes is for everyone!

Nature Journaling with Open Space and Mountain Parks

Join naturalist Juanita Echeverri from City of Boulder Open Space and Mountain Parks for a nature journaling walk! We will connect with nature and learn techniques for capturing these moments in our nature journals. Guides can present in both English and Spanish.

Farmfest – Sunflower Farm

Sunflower Farm 11150 Prospect Rd, Longmont, CO 80504

Farmfest Public Hours, is when the public can visit Sunflower Farm - Reservations are Required! You will be able to have direct contact with your favorite farm animals: the goats, sheep, llamas, cows, alpaca, chickens  & horses. Enjoy swinging under the cottonwoods or sitting on a John Deere tractor. You will discover an old airplane, sandboxes, bicycles, free-roaming chickens, hay bales and playhouses, among many other things to explore. During colder weather, toast marshmallows over the bonfire. Enjoy water play during summer months. Farmfest will operate during rain, snow or shine! 

A day at Sunflower Farm gives you and your children the chance to move and explore in ways they don’t in our modern, urbanized life. Be sure to relax and reconnect to nature as you watch the free roaming chickens, guineas, silkies or peacocks spreading their feathers.

Habitats: City of Boulder Wet Meadow Staging Day

This is a materials staging day to prepare for the City of Boulder Wet Meadow Restoration event in Gregory Canyon on Boulder's Flagstaff Mountain, in cooperation with the Cool Boulder climate initiative. Volunteers will assist in staging rocks at the structure locations for the volunteer event the following Sat-Sun. You do NOT need to be available for the entire day to help, even if you're only able to help for a couple of hours, please sign up!
