Crew Leader Training in Ecological Restoration

March 24 @ 8:00 am - March 25 @ 5:00 pm

Crew leaders are vital to the success of most WRV project’s, they are the faces of WRV, representing WRV to the volunteers. Crew Leaders are give technical training/notes for each project and then get to lead a crew of 5-8 other volunteers making sure everyone has fun, stays safe, and gets the important work done.

Crew leadership is a great way to enhance your stewardship of public lands and build your professional leadership skills while helping other volunteers get the most out of a project! This training will help you develop team building skills, situational leadership skills, proper tool usage techniques, and volunteer care and safety protocols. Plus attending the Crew Leader training earns you mad skills and serious gold stars!

You will also be introduced to the field of ecological restoration and get hands-on practice as a restoration crew leader. WRV is pleased to be collaborating on this training with the Outdoor Stewardship Institute and Eldorado Canyon State Park
