Join us for an evening of seed cleaning and laughter at the Fort Collins office. We’ll be cleaning three-leaf sumac collected in nearby Lory State Park.
Native seed is often incredibly expensive or unavailable commercially, making habitat restoration challenging. BY collecting native species that are adapted to thrive in the challenging climate of the Front Range, WRV volunteers provide this essential resource to future restoration projects and our public lands.
Have you ever wondered what happens with all that seed we collect on our projects? By joining us for this seed cleaning, you can learn how seeds are stored, cleaned and how they will be used in restoration projects in the future.
