Speak up for Mexican Gray Wolves! Speak out against the Mexican Gray Wolf Recovery Sham! Attend a public meeting.
The Trump administration has released a Mexican wolf recovery plan that has wolf advocates and scientists howling mad. The new plan would suppress wolf numbers, limit their range, and hand over management to states and special interests, leading conservationists to call it a disingenuous “recovery sham” that may even lead to extinction.
Coloradans who support Mexican Gray Wolves and support their ability to move freely into Colorado, please attend a public meeting in Albuquerque New Mexico on July 22nd, 2-5 pm, Crowne Plaza, 1901 University Blvd. NE. This is your chance to speak up for wolves and resist Trump.
Come early at 3:30pm to prepare for the meeting – “Lobos of the Southwest” (http://www.mexicanwolves.org/) will have space near each location before the meetings to help you prepare your comments, answer questions about the plan and the process, and to connect with other wolf supporters. Meeting preparation from 11 am – 12:45 pm, Crowne Plaza, 1901 University Blvd. NE. Call (575) 522-5552 for more information.
