Whether it is the BCRA or a flat repeal of Obamacare, the White House and Mitch McConnell are desperate to rush forward a motion to proceed on a bill that would leave either 22 million or 32 million fewer Americans with vital health coverage.
That is unacceptable, and the bills’ draconian cuts to Medicaid are unfixable despite any tinkering to improve it around the edges or appease moderate senators.
Please attend this vigil outside Senator Gardner’s office on the morning the Senate is expected to vote on the motion to proceed. As Coloradans, we have to let him know we’re not giving up until this bill is completely dead.
***Note: because this is a rapid response event, please RSVP to receive a notification the evening before, whether the vote is expected to occur on Monday OR Tuesday (most likely) OR Wednesday. You may also call me with any questions: (720) 675-7290.
Please arrive on time. Coffee and donuts will be provided!
