Quién: We are farmers, activists, and scientists. We are educators, designers, and researchers. Together, we are DAR: a collective born to holistically regenerate our land and the life that it nurtures.

Qué: Through research, design, and implementation of water-harvesting agroforestry systems, we’re starting a movement to replenish communities and ecosystems while restoring our planet to a thriving state.

Por qué: Hacemos esto porque el maltrato de nuestra tierra ha perturbado la cultura, la comunidad y el clima.

We believe that the stewardship of land gives birth to the stewardship of people, community, and culture.

DAR’s work serves to heal the human-land relationship and human-human relationships by reconnecting people with the natural world, with their food, and with their deepest inner wisdom. It’s an impact that’s deeply interconnected: from the micro of the flora and fauna, to the trees and their many inhabitants, to the animals who feed from their fruits, to the water they depend on, and to the communities that raise them – it’s all from the ground up.
