SUMMARY:Action Hour: Defending the Endangered Species Act
DESCRIPTION:Action Hour: Defending the Endangered Species Act\nWhen:  April 14\, 5pm \nWhere: Virtual \nREGISTER HERE! \nThis spring\, the Sierra Club’s Conservation Campaign is launching an engaging webinar series that brings you inside the most urgent conservation fights happening right now. You’ll get the inside scoop on the issues\, hear from experts\, and discover simple\, meaningful ways you can take action and make a real difference. \nThe Endangered Species Act is the last line of defense for species facing extinction like the gray wolf\, grizzly bear\, salmon\, and orca. Yet Trump and his allies in Congress are trying to undermine or completely erase this landmark legislation. Since being signed into law by President Nixon in the 1970s\, the Endangered Species Act has been a tremendous success\, restoring the populations of wildlife on the brink of extinction and providing a model to restore biodiversity across the globe. Join Sierra Club to learn about current threats to the Endangered Species Act\, what we’re doing about them\, and how you can help.

SUMMARY:The Importance of Home Ownership with NAREB
DESCRIPTION:The Importance of Home Ownership with NAREB\n\n\n\n\nWhen: April 15\, 5pm-6pm\nWhere: Virtual\nREGISTER HERE!\n\nGenerational wealth has been hard to achieve for Black Americans because of a long history of racism\, unfair policies\, and ongoing inequalities. Owning a home is one of the most important ways to build wealth over time. It helps families grow their assets\, offers a stable and secure place to live\, and lets them make the space their own. Homeownership also brings financial advantages\, like tax breaks\, steady payments that protect against rising rents\, and a way to build credit.\n\nJoin Mr. Ashley Thomas III\, President of NAREB\, as he explains why buying a home matters and how it can help close the generational wealth gap.

SUMMARY:After We March\, We Organize! Solidarity Warriors Indivisible Action Group
DESCRIPTION:📢✊ After We March\, We Organize! 🔥 Solidarity Warriors Indivisible Action Group 🗽\nWhen: Wednesdays\,  6pm-7:30pm \nWhere: Virtual \nREGISTER HERE! \nMass demonstrations like 🚫👑 No Kings prove one thing beyond doubt: the people are AWAKE and FIRED UP! 🔥 But rallying in the streets is just the beginning. The real power comes from what we do after the march. That’s exactly what we’re here to build. 🛠️ Come learn the organizing skills we wish we had known from the start — and let’s transform that protest energy into lasting\, unstoppable change. 💪 \n📚🎤 Every week we feature guest speakers and training on topics like: \n🛡️ How to Protest Safely 🌎 Immigrant Rights 🪶 Indigenous History 🔐 Cybersecurity ✊ Community Organizing Tactics and much more! \n🌟 About Solidarity Warriors: We’re an action-focused\, Indivisible group 💥 born after the November election and proud lead organizers of No Kings 2 in Denver 🏔️. We’re people from across the nation — many in Colorado — united by one commitment: action over grievance. 🎯 We don’t just talk about what’s wrong — we plan\, organize\, and partner with marginalized communities to make things right. ✊🏽 \n🚨 Come ready to answer one question: What are YOU going to DO? 👉 Join us. SUMMARY:Food Not Bombs Free Market Block Party
DESCRIPTION:Food Not Bombs Free Market Block Party\nWhen: April 17\, 5pm-10pm \nWhere: VisionQuest Brewery \nThe ultimate\, hidden truth of the world is that it is something we make\, and could just as easily make differently. We’ve been told for centuries that a “market” must be a site of cold calculation and extraction\, but we’re here to suggest it can just as easily be a site of radical care and joy. Why not build a world where we give because we can\, and feast because we’re together?\n\nJoin us for the Food Not Bombs Free Market Block Party on April 17th from 5 to 10 PM at Vision Quest Brewery. We will have free street food\, first aid kits\, clothing\, a bike repair station\, and an arts and crafts table. The soundtrack for the evening includes a salsa\, reggaeton\, and cumbia set by Monty Pop\, plus hip-hop performances by Preacher vs Choir and Time.\n\nDonations are welcome\, but they are never required. The only thing you truly owe anyone is your presence. Let’s stop pretending the world has to be this way and start acting like we’re already free.

SUMMARY:Reclaiming Our Sky: A Tale of Immersive Survival
DESCRIPTION:Reclaiming Our Sky: A Tale of Immersive Survival\nWhen: April 20\, 3:15pm-5pm \nWhere: Fiske Planetarium \nREGISTER HERE! \nJoin this immersive experience that reclaims the sky as a space of witnessing\, memory\, return\, and survival. The event is created by doctoral candidate at CU Boulder Naim Aburaddi as part of his Ph.D. dissertation project. \nPresented at Fiske Planetarium\, this live\, multi-dimensional show weaves together performance\, real-time livestreams of Gaza’s night sky\, and 360-degree visual storytelling. Through imagined skies and embodied realities\, the experience traces fragments of life before and after genocide\, holding space for loss\, resilience\, and imagination. \n“Under the dome\, the buzzing of drones dissipates\, and the sky is reclaimed as a source of hope rather than horror. Under the same moon\, I reflect on one of the darkest moments in modern history. Under the same sky\, I imagine a liberated Gaza to survive the ongoing brutal presence.” \nThis is not only a show\, but a collective act of remembrance\, survival\, and reclamation.

It is designed to cultivate connection across faith\, spiritual\, and secular communities while strengthening the relational fabric needed to sustain climate work in challenging times. \nHeld during Earth Week — a moment dedicated to honoring and protecting our planet — this gathering asks: \nWhat might it sound like to care for Earth together? \nHow can music sustain us in the work of repair? \nWhat becomes possible when sacred wisdom and civic action meet? \nParticipants will experience live performances and facilitated moments of reflection in an immersive setting at The Alliance Center\, a hub for collaboration across Colorado’s climate and justice ecosystem. \nPerformers and practitioners will be announced soon. \nWe invite you to come listen\, reflect\, and connect; help us co-create a shared soundtrack for ecological care and collective action. \nWe want this gathering to be accessible to all. Scholarship tickets are available if cost is a barrier\, for students\, or if you need support attending. Please reach out to our Director of Programs\, Jolie\, at jbrawner@afca.earth \nEvent Partners: Colorado Jewish Climate Action\,  Iliff School of Theology\, The Center for Earth Theology\, The Alliance Center
