Colorado has a diverse and fascinating climate, owing to our location at the intersection of the mountains and plains, and our position in the midlatitudes that is regularly traversed by weather systems.
Our Boulder County chapter welcomes Ron Sinton, President of Sinton Instruments, for a Speaker Series presentation exploring the challenges and trade-offs of achieving 100% renewable energy.
This program features a beautiful 20-minute film about the traditional prayer, “Words Before All Else,” which is central to the spiritual and cultural beliefs of the Six Nations of the Haudenosaunee (also known as the Iroquois). Their daily prayer gives thanks to Mother Earth, Elder Brother Sun, Grandmother Moon, water, animals, plants, and all other living things.
