DESCRIPTION:Grief and Resistance Ritual\nWhen: April 26\, 1pm-2:30pm \nWhere: Boulder Creek near Main Library \nLEARN MORE HERE! \nPlease join us for a community ceremony honoring our personal and collective grief and giving voice to our resistance. \nThis year has brought profound losses\, both personal and collective – the loss of loved ones\, the devastations of wars and genocide\, of attacks and imprisonment of immigrants\, of wild fires\, floods and drought\, of beloved species disappearing\, of racism and gender violence. \nWe gather to honor these losses. Our grief is an expression of love. \nGrieving and singing together helps us build our collective power and remember that we shine brighter when we act together. It is through honoring and sharing our grief that we sustain our resilience and create the energy and aliveness for what is needed next. \nWe welcome all who will join us in peace and ceremony. We welcome you as you are: afraid\, angry\, sad\, numb\, unsure\, and those carrying more than words can hold. \nIf you wish\, please bring something to offer to the creek – a flower\, a stone\, something that will not cause harm to the ecology.
