Our grief is an expression of love. \nGrieving and singing together helps us build our collective power and remember that we shine brighter when we act together. It is through honoring and sharing our grief that we sustain our resilience and create the energy and aliveness for what is needed next. \nWe welcome all who will join us in peace and ceremony. We welcome you as you are: afraid\, angry\, sad\, numb\, unsure\, and those carrying more than words can hold. \nIf you wish\, please bring something to offer to the creek – a flower\, a stone\, something that will not cause harm to the ecology.

We want to continue talking about how CU can partner more closely with community arts organizations through internships\, special projects and other creative ventures. \nThis event we will feature a panel discussion with university and community partners on engaging CU with the arts on and off campus. Panelists include Emily Zinn\, Education Director of the Museum of Boulder; Wendy Franz\, Managing Director of Colorado Shakespeare Festival\, and Matt Cottle Operations Director at Roots Music Project to explore how to better engage student audiences\, support cultural participation\, and build lasting partnerships between Boulder’s creative sector and CU. \nLight refreshments will be provided. Drawing on Indigenous relational frameworks (land-based\, community-oriented\, interdependent) and Buddhist insights (interbeing\, compassion\, freedom from suffering)\, we will examine how these traditions resonate\, how they differ\, and how together they point toward a lived practice of what might be called “Liberation Dharma.”
