SUMMARY:Nuclear Energy & Nuclear Waste in the US Today
DESCRIPTION:Nuclear Energy & Nuclear Waste in the US Today\nWhen: Jan 23\, 7pm-9pm \nWhere: Virtual \nREGISTER HERE! \nShould nuclear power be considered “clean”? Join us for a rare opportunity to hear a high-level overview from experts with the Alliance for Nuclear accountability and Nuclear Free Colorado. The status of the fight against Holtec’s unprecedented scheme to restart the closed Palisades reactor in Michigan\, as well as construct and operate two SMR-300s (“Small Modular Reactors” of 300 Megawatts-electric each) calling it a model for national and global build out.\nThe work being done in Pueblo and other areas of Colorado to keep our communities and our state nuclear-free.
