Fun on the Farm: Piggies!

Children ages 3-6 will love to visit the farm to learn about animals, plants, and agricultural life. Piggies! program shares a great pig story and then we get to meet our pigs in person! The 2013 flood and 2021 Marshall Fire are just two examples of catastrophic impacts playing out close to home. We are approaching a critical juncture in confronting the climate crisis, and Boulder's arts and culture community has an important role to play. What is the future we want for America's largest coral reefs? These delicate ecosystems support marine life and human endeavors, but climate change is threatening the existence of these natural, and human communities, alike. There are several climate models addressing marine life impacts, however the cost to run models is a barrier to the communities who need them most. Together with the model metrics and insight from community members, this research will provide adaptation techniques that are meaningful to the local community.
