Join us for a Fall morning of planting a pollinator-friendly garden at the intersection of 2nd and Terry -- just behind Bootstrap Brewing! This parcel of land is currently non-functional grass turf. With the help of a grant from our friends at Resource Central, we will be removing that turf, replacing current irrigation with a lower water use option, putting down rock mulch, and (with your help!) getting hundreds of pollinator friendly plants in the ground!

Christian Nunes, wildlife ecologist, will talk about the butterflies and flora of Fishers Peak State Park at the Boulder Chapter CONPS October 2 meeting. He has been part of a team of scientists who inventoried the flora and fauna of this biologically diverse property before and after it became a state park.
