DESCRIPTION:Making a Living and a Life; ALL Careers as “Environmental Careers”\nWhen: April 28\, 6pm-8pm \nWhere: New Vista High School \nRSVP HERE! \n\n\nThis program will bring the ALL Careers Approach to Education to high school students. Planned by BVSD students and held at a BVSD School! \n\n\n\n\nThis program will introduce the ALL Careers Approach to Education to BVSD students and others. Significantly\, it is being planned by BVSD students and will be held at a BVSD school! It will include a panel discussion with businesses (JAX and Treehouse learning) and students\, engaging activities\, and ideas galore for how to take the ALL Careers approach and increase your 21st century job readiness! \nCome at 6:00 pm for a 30 minute gather-up period to mingle\, learn about the CU Sustainable Business Club and Sharpe Sustainability Center and enjoy free pizza! The program starts at 6:30. Thank you to JAX Mercantile and JR Heckman LLC for sponsoring free pizza! \nThe ALL Careers approach connects environmental and energy understanding to every career path — not just the small subset traditionally labeled as “environmental or green careers.” The goal is to inspire and equip young people with the knowledge that environmental principles are relevant in every field.
