How to generally talk about the site:
The Boulder.Earth portal is a dynamic, grassroots site created by and for the Boulder community to help “de-silo” the various diverse climate efforts, and to start seeing everyone in one place, held under one roof. Artists, activists, scientists, entrepreneurs, faith groups, on and on… The site features a robust community calendar (there are more than 70 climate-related events happening in Boulder in September alone!), a directory of local climate, culture, and sustainable economy organizations and a list of “top four” actions to take locally, focusing on 1) energy, 2) ecosystems, 3) resources and 4) justice. We will also send out a monthly newsletter highlighting different events, upcoming grant opportunities, job openings, and highlighting organizations and individuals in our community who are taking action.
The goal? Help our community take action on climate, learn more about the abundant eco-social-justice work that’s already underway, and push the dial towards achieving our city-wide climate and sustainability goals. We live in a community of unbelievable abundance, now it’s time to foster collaboration and connection for magnified impact!
