2024 Fiber Fest

On Saturday, July 27 from 10-2, the Handweavers Guild of Boulder and Schacht Spindle Company are hosting an exciting immersive textile extravaganza. Fiber Fest 2024 will take place in central park next to the Boulder Farmers Market, 13th Street and Arapahoe Avenue. This celebration of the textile arts explores weaving, spinning, crochet, pompom making, indigo dyeing, mending and embroidery. A special hands-on community sculpture, hosted by BLDG 61, the makerspace at the Boulder Public Library, will offer the possibility to create community art together. Fiber Fest 2024 is a hands-on welcoming event for all ages and abilities. Textiles are everywhere around us, and Fiber Fest 2024 celebrates textile traditions and the ongoing joy of working with your hands. Please join us for all or some of the time.
