Preserving the Harvest 101

When: Sept 10, 5-6pm
Where: George F. Reynolds Library

This intro-level class will teach attendees the basics in food preservation methods such as blanching & freezing greens, canning vegetables & mashed-fruit jam preserves, drying herbs for a home apothecary, and fermentation methods for pickles and beans. Ages 18+
