Boulder chapter November meeting: the Colorado Native Plant Master Program – history and current status
When: November 6, 7-8:30pm
Where: Virtual
The Colorado Native Plant Master Program was started in 1997 by Barbara Fahey at the Jefferson County Extension and is now offered in counties throughout the state. The program’s purpose is to train participants to identify wild plants and learn about their ecology and human uses so they can share this knowledge with their local communities. Boulder CONPS chapter member Barbara Fahey will discuss the program’s history, and El Paso County extension staffer (and CONPS board member) Michele Ritchie will describe its current scope, locations and program requirements.
