NSF NCAR joins the third annual National AI Literacy Day on March 27th, a nationwide movement exploring the fundamental question, “What is AI?” On National AI Literacy Day, please join our upcoming Explorer Series event, “Applications of Artificial Intelligence in Earth System Science” with scientists Charlie Becker, Nihanth Cherukuru, and Negin Sobhani.

They will explore topics including AI-ready computational infrastructure infrastructure, machine learning models, and visualizations, while highlighting emerging opportunities and challenges of AI application in Earth system science research. This event is the first of three events that explore NSF NCAR’s AI and ML capabilities that accelerate discovery and improve understanding of the Earth system.
