2024 NOCO Climate Meetup – Northern Colorado Climate Organizations
When: Sept 22, 12-5pm
Where: Centennial Park
On September 22nd, 2024 the annual NOCO Climate Meetup will be held in Loveland. Taking place at the Centennial Park Main Shelter, 977 W. !st St, Loveland, environmental groups from around Colorado are meeting to hear speeches, gather together and reestablish collaborations. An informal potluck will bring people together.

What to Bring – Please bring water bottles AND plates/utensils (if you plan to eat) – you also might want to bring sunblock and “outdoor toys” (like Frisbees, football, corn hole, etc.
Food/Drink – People can bring food items (e.g. chips, vegies, dip, salads, desserts, etc) – people are urged to focus on vegan and sustainable products. Climate Reality will buy sodas/water/etc – There is no alcohol allowed at the park. As mentioned above – bring plates/utensils if you plan to eat.
Sustainability and Waste Diversion – Please pay attention to minimizing waste – we will provide for composting and recycling – please do your part to practice sustainability.
Organizational Tables – Climate organizations are urged to set up tables/chairs with information on current projects – we will have breaks to allow people to visit/network. Please set them up in the area around the shelter – and do not take up a table in the main shelter area. Teams might want to bring tents/awnings to provide shelter from the sun. Larger organizations might want to share a table e.g. CCL, 350 Colorado, etc
Carpooling
If you need a ride – we have drivers for most locations. It is up to you to contact the drivers (via either email or phone) and to work out logistics. The spreadsheet is located here:
