Antisemitism & the Climate Crisis: A Gen Z Discussion Space

When: June 2, 6pm
Where: Virtual
Adamah’s Jewish Youth Climate Movement (JYCM) understands that the emotional and mental health impacts of both antisemitism and climate change are intimately intertwined and mutually reinforcing for teenagers and young adults coming of age in this time. This has only become more prevalent as both crises intensify.
In response, JYCM is running recurring discussion gathering spaces for Jewish members of Gen Z from across the country to grapple with antisemitism in the world and in their lives, and how this antisemitism interfaces with their acute sense of climate anxiety and other emotions. All gatherings focus on balancing grief, healing, emotional resilience practices, and organizing strategies. Please register ahead of time. All are welcome–no prior experience with JYCM or Adamah is necessary.
We are looking for partners in this project! If you are an organization interested in co-hosting this space, please reach out to madeline.canfield@adamah.org to discuss further.
