Audubon After Dark Bird Story Hour: Christmas Bird Count
When: December 19, 7-8pm
Where: Virtual
If you’ve participated in the Christmas Bird Count (the longest running community science project in the nation!) we’re sure you have a story about the experience. We’d love to hear your story during our next Audubon After Dark Bird Story Hour event, celebrating the 125th Christmas Bird Count! Join our Community Naturalists on December 19 for an evening of story sharing with fellow bird lovers.
New to the Christmas Bird Count? Join us to listen to stories from others. Who knows? You may be inspired to join the count this year, too!
How it works: The event will be held virtually on Zoom. You’re invited to share a five-minute tale (optional) in small groups and in the main room. You are also welcome to just sit back and enjoy the show!
Whether it’s a distinct bird encounter, a hilarious mishap while while trying to see a “lifer” bird, or a special reflection, we want to hear about your favorite memories while conducting the Christmas Bird Count. Join us around the virtual Christmas fire for a night of storytelling! Register now.
December 18 is the final day to register.
