Would your non-Native community like to build relationships with Native people and tribes, but you don’t know how to start? You’re not alone. Join us to hear from three Colorado communities that are building relationships with tribes that were violently removed from the state, as well as with Native people who live close by. How (and why) did these community efforts get started? What challenges and obstacles did they confront? What lessons have they learned? We’ll have plenty of time for Q&A so have your questions ready!

Speakers will be Jerilyn DeCoteau (Turtle Mountain Chippewa) and Paula Palmer from Right Relationship Boulder; Marrton Dormish from the Broomfield Sister Cities Organization – Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes Affiliate; and Courtney Michelle and Sheree Seyfi from the Longmont Sister Cities Association.

This is a virtual presentation. Please register for the zoom link.
