Elk Run volunteer days will take place in the Forest Garden, DAR’s pilot site and conceptual model for much of our perennial ecological stewardship. Depending on the season, you can expect to participate in activities such as planting, weeding, mulching, harvesting, food processing, snacking and much more!

DAR’s volunteer opportunities are child friendly. Closed-toe shoes are required and we recommend bringing snacks, a full water bottle, sunscreen/hat if desired, & layers to take off or put on depending on weather!
