| Do you care deeply for nature and the Earth but feel disconnected and unsure how to help? Join Friends Farm and Lafayette Open Space Education Coordinator and Systems Thinker Martin Ogle as we explore what it means to be a human in perfect harmony with our home.Martin draws from his decades of experience as an ecologist and humanist scholar to make us feel the wonder of connecting to the Earth. Come get inspired as we delve into the latest Earth Systems Science and break down the siloes of human knowledge for a holistic view of our world.
Together we will explore what livelihoods, communities and culture truly in touch with our role as part of the web of life can look like. From there, practical projects and next steps will be explored so you can plug in and help weave this new web. The event will be held at Sister Carmen Community Center in Lafayette on Monday 4/8 from 6-8pm. |
