Living with Wolves and Other Predators: Co-existence in the Modern Wilderness with Dr. Joanna Lambert and Dr. Christopher Sichko
When: April 25, 6-8pm
Where: Fjallraven Boulder
The reintroduction of wolves to Colorado has ignited diverse opinions and speculation. Joanna Lambert, professor of wildlife ecology and conservation biology at the University of Colorado – Boulder, will infuse this conversation with scientific insights into ecosystem dynamics and deep histories of predator-human relationships.
Christopher Sichko, an accomplished environmental economist, conservation pilot, and photographer, tracks and captures images of Colorado’s most renowned predator species in our own backyards and urban spaces. His work highlights the species that live among us, fostering a deeper appreciation and understanding of our wild neighbors.
This event goes beyond understanding wildlife; it’s an invitation to engage in meaningful dialogue about co-existence, debunk myths about predators like wolves, and explore how we can all contribute to a more integral relationship with the natural world.
