Plastic Free July may be coming to an end, but there’s still so much to learn about plastic pollution and the many ways we can take action against it. To close out a month of education and activism, we invite you to join us for a watch party and panel discussion to learn about authentic solutions to plastic pollution. Hear from experts on what really works in plastics recycling and what is just industry greenwashing.
The webinar will include a virtual screening of “Chasing Arrows: The Truth About Recycling,” a short film produced by the Alliance for Mission-Based Recycling (of which Eco-Cycle is a founding member) in partnership with the Emmy Award–winning Peak Plastic Foundation. Watch a film teaser here!
The film outlines how the plastics industry is trashing recycling with non-recyclable plastics and exposes the recycling myths that the petrochemical industry promotes, such as blaming the recycling system and consumers for plastic pollution.
