An in-depth conversation hosted by Sacred Justice Coalition and Sacred Mountain Sangha with Maha Husaini, Lubna Masarwa, Ilan Pappé, Jamal Juma, Thanissara, Nikki Morse (JVP) and Kareem Ghandour.

As the brutal realities of empire unfold in Gaza, this event will explore how Gaza’s profound suffering is catalyzing a global awakening. As these same destructive shadows of empire arrive more fully on our doorstep, we now have no choice but to leap to a revolutionary spirituality paradigm, guided by our ethical responsibility and direct engagement with the realities unfolding before us.

Drawing from the Dharma, we will reflect on the path of transcending cycles of violence by “moving beyond the walls of the mind,” as stated in the Heart Sutra, while reclaiming our original heart/mind, rooted in timeless awareness, where all can be known, healed, and liberated.

Together, we will also look at the vital relationship between Palestinian liberation and global, alongside local freedom, while confronting the urgent need to dismantle the apartheid mindset, the arms industry, and the “forever wars” of empire in the pursuit of a more just and compassionate future.
