Weed Wrangling – Eldorado Canyon State Park

Eldorado Canyon has invasive weeds! And Eldorado Canyon doesn’t spray herbicides. To control weeds we use biological agents (bugs that target very specific invasive species) and hand-pulling.
As long as the weather holds, we’ll head out and hand pull weeds every Wednesday (mostly). We’ll track what weeds you’ve learned, and as you gain experience and skills, you’ll be able to schedule yourself for weed pulling sessions at your convenience.
I’ll send out a location a few days before each event. Sometimes we’ll meet in the main canyon, sometimes we’ll meet at Crescent Meadows. It’s pretty nice, relaxing work – hope you can join.
