Celebrate May Day with community, education, food, music, and dance!
Join us on May 3rd to share in the celebration; learn how to care for your fruit tree(s) and enhance their understory. The session will cover meeting your trees’ nutritional needs, efficient water use, building resistance to pests and diseases, and how to be a good neighbor to our local black bears (who also love fresh fruit!). We will also introduce participants to understory planting techniques! Discover a variety of companion plants that invite beneficial species to your property for improved pest control, pollination, and soil health.

In this presentation, Martin Ogle, brings a 41-year career as a naturalist, Earth scientist and storyteller to bear in exploring how to see ourselves as Geo sapiens or Earth-wise humans.
