In this 2-hour participatory program, we experience the history of the colonization of Turtle Island, the land that is now known as the United States. The story is told through the words of Indigenous leaders, European/American leaders, and Western historians. We engage with this history through experiential exercises and small group discussions.

Our goal is to make taking collective action towards climate change a central, defining feature of what it means to be Jewish over the next decade, empowering the next generation of Jewish youth to be leaders in our fight to build a sustainable and equitable world for all. The JYCM Climate Activism Series equips Jewish teens with the knowledge, skills, and support to organize their communities and fight for climate justice.
