Brújula Comunitaria

Brújula Comunitaria  (Community Compass) is a group of 14 BIPOC families that came together in 2021 to advocate and drive a change in the nutrition of our children in the Saint Vrain Valley School District (SVVSD). Since then, we have evolved into a group focused on increasing and strengthening the capacities of its members as mothers, business women, cleaning workers, community organizers, providers, etc. The experiences and skills of each of the members support and complement La Brújula.

Our intention is to encourage direct community participation with the goal of providing solutions to the challenges of climate, social and economic justice.

Our vision is to be an example of community leadership through the practice of conscious and collective actions that have a positive impact in the community.
