Community-Led, Nature-Based Climate Action

Cool Boulder is a long-term campaign to create partnerships between the City of Boulder, the people of Boulder, and local partner organizations to implement natural climate solutions.

The campaign will mobilize and support residents to regenerate our soils, trees, and habitats for a resilient community, climate, and future. To begin, the campaign will focus on expanding vegetation and tree cover in ways that reduce temperatures and create pollinator habitats.

Much of this work will need to take place on private land and be led by community members. City departments can provide support and training, but the scale of change needed will not be possible without the commitment of thousands of engaged residents.
