In addition to a potent historical overview, this film shares three personal and moving stories about a Native child forced into a Canadian residential school, never to see his parents again; adoption of Native babies and children by whites; and ongoing, a 14-year battle with a Pennsylvania school district to eradicate their racist Redskins mascot that continues today.
Come and gather with us to celebrate the holidays for networking with friends/members and hear from 5 local non-profits (Colorado Gives Day Partners) who will share information on their organization, sustainability efforts, and community impact.

This event brings together community leaders, advocates, and policy experts committed to advancing justice, equity, and the restoration of American Indian rights.
