Celebrating our 22nd event in Longmont this year, our version of Empty Bowls began when two OUR Center volunteers, Mary Doubek and Cathy Gubersky, unbeknownst to one another, came to us with the idea of Empty Bowls, which they had each helped with in other cities. Over the years, it has become the OUR Center’s largest fundraiser and has amassed thousands of community supporters.
