Colorado and the Nation, as a whole, has painted itself into a corner where the need for sustainable change is becoming more critical every day. Colorado’s greenhouse gas pollution, air quality, and congestion continue to increase negatively impacting productivity, overall health, and the state’s quality of life. Some have embraced the need for change but far too many continue on their way consuming finite carbon fuels that deplete our ozone and pollute in so many ways.
Play a role in the creation of a green economy at this program connecting green businesses with youth in our community. All are welcome! This event will include short presentations by business representatives about how and why they are "going green," a panel discussion with students, and time for audience / panelist Q&A.
The CWPP proactively identifies wildfire risks in the wildland-urban interface, which refers to areas where undeveloped lands meet the places where people live and work in Boulder. The CWPP, when complete, will serve as a guiding document that will assist the city and the Boulder community in making informed decisions for wildfire preparedness and risk reduction.

Join us for Calling Planet Earth to the Bimah with the Yale Program on Climate Change Communication and the Masorti Environmental Sustainability Initiative. The way we speak about climate change matters. Mallika Talwar, Deputy Partnerships Director of the Yale Program on Climate Change Communication, will discuss the program's research findings and communication best practices. I will share some thoughts on the intersection of climate communication and Judaism.
