Charles Cambridge (PhD, University of Colorado) is a 4/4 enrolled member of the Navaho Tribe in the Southwest United States.  He is Bitahnii (mother’s clan), born for Taneezahnii (father’s clan), his maternal grandfather is Todischiinii, and his paternal grandfather’s clan is Totsohnii.

In addition to a potent historical overview, this film shares three personal and moving stories about a Native child forced into a Canadian residential school, never to see his parents again; adoption of Native babies and children by whites; and ongoing, a 14-year battle with a Pennsylvania school district to eradicate their racist Redskins mascot that continues today.
