Come to our monthly meeting centering climate solutions related to regenerative agriculture, renewable energy, and divestment! Jump into any of these areas of work regardless of your amount of experience in them. Everyone is welcome to join! Show up at the capacity and frequency that makes sense to you and your schedule and meet other activists, volunteers, and organizers from around the state.
There is widespread understanding that moisture levels in the soil are a critical factor in plant growth and health, whether in cultivated or natural systems. This presentation will provide an introduction to current systems for soil moisture monitoring and detail some of the benefits this monitoring can provide. The presentation will also describe a new multi-agency effort to develop a state-wide soil moisture monitoring network in Colorado.
