In this year-long speaker series, climate justice provides a unifying framework with a variety of disciplines, topics, sectors, and regions represented. Each speaker will grapple with the questions: How do you engage a justice framing in your work? AND How can we all better address climate justice in research, policy and outreach -- on campus and beyond.
Staff from the Commissioners' Office, County Attorney's Office, Community Planning & Permitting, and Public Health will present updates on oil and gas operations and regulations followed by a question-and-answer session with the Boulder County Commissioners.
Imagine these workshops as the seedbeds where we'll continue to grow into inclusive organizing, helping us in a just-transition to a regenerative, clean energy economy. We'll explore what it means to move away from an extractive way of being towards a more sustainable and just future. We want to move toward a movement that can equip all individuals with the resources needed to participate fully in climate organizing, through support, mutual aid, and accountability.

Switch is a fun, fast-paced volunteer-run event that serves to bring the Colorado energy community together to learn, laugh, and network. The presentation concept is Pecha Kucha style, where 10 speakers have just a few minutes to present and inspire the audience with their topic.

She soon joins the state-wide movement to change the law but the powerful oil and gas industry fights back with lawsuits, racialized harassment, political sabotage, and $50 million. Join the First Universalist Church and Brian Hedden, the producer/director who lives in Boulder, as we watch and discuss this film.
We are so excited to announce that this December, we will be hosting the First Annual Yellow Barn Farm Film Festival! We'll start the day with four blocks of short films on different themes: The Land, Colorado Filmmakers, Indigenous Filmmakers, and "No Rules."
