As many of you know, this event is a time of celebration and brings hope for us all as a community in connection with land. Without healthy land, there is no healthy community. We will join together to reflect on what has been accomplished over the past season, share in the abundant harvest that September brings, and look ahead for our work to come!
FrontLine Farming's annual Farm-to-Table Dinner and Fundraiser will celebrate and support our local efforts toward liberation through food and foodways while also connecting to liberation struggles in the Arabian peninsula. This year, our gathering will also serve as Our Love Letter to Palestine and Yemen and will provide our community with a chance to fortify and activate our solidarity with our Palestinian kin.

Learn about migration, marshes, and the role avian friends play in our lives. Enjoy games, art projects, a scavenger hunt, a wingspan comparison with former Harlem Globetrotter, Nate Lofton, and door prizes. This year’s event explores the World Migratory Bird Day theme of “Protect Insects, Protect Birds”.
Join us for a panel presentation on Prove It's Clean, a campaign to ban petrochemical sunscreens in Roatán, an island off the coast of Honduras. The presentation will go into some background of the island, an explanation of the harm caused by petrochemical sunscreens, and the action plan we are taking to address this problem in favor of the health of the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef.
How can good citizens help to identify and combat election-related misinformation? Learn how from retired Colorado Sun journalist Sandra Fish and Denver PL research and programming librarian Lauren Seegmiller. Their presentations will be followed by conversation and a Q&A facilitated by the Boulder Library Foundation's executive director Chris Barge.
Join us as we hear from John Farrell, 'the guru of distributed energy' and a leading authority on the downside of investor owned utilities. He will touch on Boulder's 2025 "Offramp" (an option to get out of the Xcel franchise) and what taking the offramp might offer in the way of opportunities for local control and cleaner power.

Not only can you enjoy fresh produce and pantry goods from more than 65 vendors, but you can also spend your evening eating at our food court, listening to live music, drinking local beer, and doing Tai Chi with Rocky Mountain Tai Chi.

Front Range Eagles Studies would like to invite you to participate in a Zoom meeting and presentation on September 18th at 7pm. We will focus on the Stearns nesting bald eagles, and how their history emphasizes the challenges that some territorial bald eagles face in the rapidly developing Colorado Front Range due to a scarcity of nesting trees, and diminished habitat and prey resources. The presentation will run about 20 minutes with questions and conversation afterward.
