As a nonprofit, we strive to be a part of the circular economy with the business practices at our Shop. Our work happens from the wheels up: we start with refurbishing bikes that make safe, high-quality bikes accessible. We also sell used bike parts, tools and clothing that would otherwise end up in the landfill. Through this work, thousands of pounds of rubber, plastic and metal are recycled.
Outside of our bike shop, we support decarbonization by keeping people riding bikes through bike maintenance education, affordable bikes and parts, and advocating for safe places to ride, like separated bike lanes and multi-use paths. Community members will feel capable, safe and have the choice to ride a bicycle for everyday transportation.
