UpRoot Colorado (UpRoot) is an organization working to manage surplus agriculture and reduce on-farm food loss statewide through gleaning, experiential education, research and legislative advocacy. Our vision is to co-create a healthier, more connected, and just foodshed in Colorado, reinstalling food wisdom while increasing food equity for Coloradans at or below poverty level—including the working poor—while also increasing the rate of nutritional security statewide.
