Youth Climate Mobilization Summit

Recognizing the importance of youth-centric climate solutions, the Youth Opportunities Advisory Board (YOAB) for the City of Boulder hosted a Climate Mobilization Summit for young people on Feb. 1, 2020.

“Climate action calls for leadership from all of us. Current policymakers aren’t the ones who will face the biggest impacts. We are,” said Barclay Shove, 18, a senior at Fairview High School and co-organizer of the summit. “That’s why we think it is important to engage young people in the conversation about impactful solutions. Teens have great ideas. We want to hear them.”
