I go by Him/His pronouns. I’m a rabble-rouser, a founder of organizations, and a conspirator of political movements. I’ve been a youth counselor, a community organizer, a leader, a follower, and a friend. I’ve worked with U.N. agencies, INGOs, Academia and Social Movements. I’ve advocated, sometimes successfully, for policy change around the world. My projects have received funding from the likes of The EU Commission, World Vision, The Rockefeller Brothers Fund, Finnish and Danish Church Aid, The European Endowment for Democracy, and a number of other dubious parties. As a cis-straight presenting man active in solidarity, I’m learning much about how to get out of the way. I’ve spent years in military uniform, and many more years protesting militarized policies, organizing to deconstruct colonial politics. I practice centering marginalized people and taking leadership from impacted communities.
